The Dholpur Pink Natural sandstone has a plain pink background with the rough and irregular bedding. This sandstone is also known as Bansi Pink and Udaipur Pink sandstone as it is majorly found in Bansi Paharpur. The sandstone when used in setting with Red / Beige sandstone, it gives a new look to the building facade. Due to its strength, durability, resistance to abrasion, and easy-to-maintain features this sandstone is used for making artifacts and decorative items. Moreover, the sandstone provides traditional touch to the flooring designed by these stones. The raw sandstone is quarried at Bansi Paharpur, District Karoli, Rajasthan, North West India.
