Modak Sandstone, also known as Nevada Colorado Sandstone or Modak Multicolor sandstone. It has quartz grains & due to their presence, this is also named as Quartzitic Sandstones. Modak natural sandstone is an attractive and rich coloured sandstone boldly comprised of terracotta, pinks and reds with warm orange and brown hues. The mixture of these colours would result in plain greenish brown stone to brighten up your garden or patio. Due to the natural copper brown buff colour, it finds extensively popular in paving and most town planners in Europe for their old city revamping projects. The sandstone is not only beautiful but easy to lay and is mined at Modak District, Jhalawad, Rajasthan and North West India.
